About Us
We are locals with a passion for football!
For the last 10 years we have watched the Ormiston/Flatbush area grow tremendously bringing in a diverse fantastic mix of ethnicities and culture. The growth of the area has allowed other sports (Rugby and Cricket) to establish clubs at Barry Curtis Park and the time is right to now offer a community football club based at Barry Curtis that has the values of the players and the local community at heart.
As a new club we will be focusing on inhouse community fun football for ages 4-12 where the kids can learn the game and have fun playing with their peers (both boys and girls).
Starting Ormiston AFC certainly could not have happened without support of Sport Auckland and we are also very fortunate to have the backing and support from Fencibles United FC (a large football club based in Howick/Pakuranga) We will work closely with Fencibles and other clubs to share resources, coaches, knowledge and experience so that we can deliver the best football offer to our members.
We look forward to you joining our family friendly football club.
